BA Intern

About This Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern (BA Intern) to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, digital product development, and cross-functional collaboration. As a BA Intern, you will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting the design of effective digital solutions, and contributing to real-world projects that drive organizational growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support the development of process flows, wireframes, and requirement specifications.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support solution planning.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and client-facing meetings.
  • Work with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, SQL, and other BA-related software.
  • Take part in testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure alignment with requirements.

    • Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SQL is a plus.
  • Fluency in three languages (English, Sinhala & Tamil) will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
